This time, I shared with some orphans and disadvantaged children under Yayasan Anak Indonesia (YAI). A friend, once a college mate, contacted me and offered to share with the kids. As I talked to disadvantaged children, I chose a simple topic, experience. With this, I used my simple experiences to encourage, motivate, and empower them to be better. Using Angela Duckworth’s survey, I emphasised on Grit. I also added the GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) model to assist them finding their ways to empower their own capacities.
