People may think that as a Balinese, you’ll be able to dance. Not true. Bali can be famous for its culture and traditional customs, including dances but, it does not automatically make you able to dance… Yep, that includes me 🙂 Therefore, joining the dance workshop below was much of fun for me. As I learned different dance movements, I learned different perspectives.
Here is a short recorded video of my participation in an Indonesian dance workshop to support Bahasa Indonesia Student Association (BISA) La Trobe University last time.

The workshop was attended by students learning Indonesian at La Trobe University and the representatives from the Indonesian Student Association. It was taught by Murtala and Alfira of Suara Indonesia Dance Group (read more at: http://www.suaraindonesiadance.com.au).
