Sang Pemimpi

This is a euphonious serenade
That I play for you on a summer night
With the dancers on the masquerade
Swinging at today’s twilight

 

P.S. The illustrated image was taken from an act where Arai, a character in “Sang Pemimpi” (The Dreamer) movie sang “Fatwa Pujangga” in front of Nirmala’s house on one evening. The movie is based on a novel of the same title, written by Andrea Hirata. I had posted the YouTube clip of this part earlier here.

      Thanks Oanh, it’s a tetralogy – 4 novels altogether. The dreamer is the 2nd. They have been translated in English, too. Best!
