Lupa Cinta

Lupa CintaAku berjalan pulang, berdansa di gelap malam
Tanpa pedang; tanpa perisai sayang
Sejenak aku lupa
Aku punya cinta

***

A free translation:
I walk home, dancing in a dark night
Without a sword; without a shield of compassion
For in a moment I forgot
I have Love

The lady in the photo is ….real, right? She must be very genius. I know a male teacher can write her way, but perhaps he can not draw that magnificient picture.

    Lovely and adorable lady !!!

I don’t know. I took it from Rumi, a famous poet I love to read. You can click on the link and look for other poetry works there, if you want 🙂 Yes, I love the beauty, too and the message 🙂

It’s hard to figure out the underling meaning of the poems… So

What does “Love” mean (not the general love for life right?) What made you forget your “Love”?

Sorry if my questions sound silly to you!

    Have a nice weekend!

Hi, thanks Oanh for reading. No, it’s alright. I like it.
One friend told me that the more interpretation you have on a poem, the richer it portrays that person’s life. It is something simple to me, even you think you don’t have anything now, you have to remember the Love of your beloved, people, and God. Because it will make you strong and be better. See the picture? She can do something better because she has Love, her passion. Again, you may have a different interpretation. Stick to it, then.
Have a nice weekend, Oanh 🙂

He he he, My very first interpretation was that this adorable lady made you forget your love for another lady. he he he. That’s such a shallow thought….

Hehe, as I said, it can be anything, and nothing’s wrong 🙂
My poetry works on Love would normally be transcendental, though. I need to learn a lot still!

I am really jealous with you b/c I never feel confident enough to make any poems though I found it more “convenient” to make such short works and can make readers ponder and infer various meanings.

Actually, I’m jealous with your inspiration and your works (both academic and arts…)

            Thank you for inspiring me!!!

Hehe, no please don’t. I believe every person has his/her own talents. Do whatever you like and show. I also learn from many friends, like you. Keep in touch, Oanh 🙂
