Abstract
The paper aimed at providing insights into technology review, a relatively new writing genre in the academic setting and publication. With the rise of technology and evident issues in EFL classrooms, the effective and meaningful utilization of technological tools is inevitable. A technology review highlights a sound pedagogy and appropriateness of the tool in the instruction. The review has four main sections, they are an introduction, utilization of technology, challenges, and conclusion. The paper outlines the sections and provides some phrases to be written in each particular section. With this, teachers and students have information and knowledge on how to use particular technological tools to cope with their class problems. Clear and scaffolded learning steps are necessary to create more effective and meaningful use of technology in the teaching and learning process.
The chapter is published in a book entitled “Pedagogy-Driven Technology Integration in English Language Teaching.”
